Our universal trim router plates are easy to install and feature pre-drilled, recessed holes compatible with the most popular trim routers on the market.
Most trim routers ship from the manufacturer with small base plates that are often asymmetrical. This not only creates challenges when using them with various jigs and templates but they can also tilt or tip while in use due to their reduced footprint. Our 5.75" diameter base plates are perfectly round, providing you with additional stability and support as well as an equal center point around the entire perimeter of the plate regardless of how you pivot your router. This is vital when you are using your trim router with certain fixtures, templates and jigs like our juice groove router jig.
This trim router base plate features countersunk (recessed) holes around the mounting holes so your factory screws can be used to mount the plate to your router. However, please note that in some cases you may have to further recess the hole with a countersink bit if your screws have an oversized or an uncommon screw head profile. This is to ensure that the screws sit entirely below the router plate and dont drag on your workpiece.
